According to Litha was started by my mother, Litha, in
1994 when she became a grandmother. She wanted to do something from home so she
could spend time with her first grandchild, so she decided to paint words of inspiration
and humor on a small hand crafted ceramic plaques. My mom has always been very artsy,
so it was no surprise to me that her small one person business took off. She had
so many requests for her work that she could barely keep up with demand. Since then
our family business has grown, mostly by word of mouth and referrals from our
many wonderful and satisfied customers.
